During NFL owner proposal, here is the final steps required ratification to get a CBA in place

Much was made yesterday, "a comprehensive agreement" had ratified the NFL owners to get the football season in progress.

But what really happened was that their final proposal to the players - conditions - no agreement ratified the owner (see all details) as the players must still vote, completing the business and take advantage of a CBA available.

The press release from the League had an incredible amount of information in it. But upon reading it is so interesting for what is missing for what it is.

The biggest problem outstanding is the question of the settlement of two important legal cases. You are the antitrust case, which among other things sees Tom Brady, drew Brees, Peyton Manning, plaintiff than lead, and the "lockout insurance" case in which a judge ruled that the NFL TV rights extensions take advantage to reach had negotiated about the player with a lockout. New proposal might be good for the business, but it is bad for baseball
